Who I am

I am an independent education consultant with 25 years of experience in the field of education. I have worked in schools in Europe, Asia, and Australia. Since 2003 I have been part of the International Baccalaureate Educator Network, serving in roles such as school visit team member and leader, workshop leader, field representative, and consultant for candidate schools.

I spent almost two decades in the classroom, teaching middle and high school Mathematics, Science, and Design. I have held various mid and senior level leadership roles, most recently as Assistant Head of School in a large international school. Here I was responsible for cross-sectional departments, whole school alignment of teaching and learning, and faculty professional development.

As a consultant, I now work with schools to improve their approaches to teaching and learning, with a focus on meaningful inquiry-driven and concept-based learning. I provide training, curriculum development, event planning, and program implementation support.

All my life I’ve had a passion for Lego. To marry this with my joy of learning I have recently embarked on a new journey. I have been delving into the realm of playful learning and truly believe it can revolutionize how we approach learning at all ages.

I am also a certified Concept Based Curriculum & Instruction trainer and am working towards an International Coaching Federation certification, offering individual professional coaching sessions to educators and school leaders.
